Tasting notes
A Spanish varietal from the Rioja region, needing a dryer landscape to flourish. Luckily, we have just the space; a small basalt embraced drop in our vineyard allows such magic. Savory, fresh and fruity when young yet leathery and earthy with age.

Garnier Vineyards is an Estate Vineyard, on the banks of the majestic Columbia River and is part of the Columbia Gorge AVA. The soil conditions here range from shallow sandy loam and basalt, to deeper soil bases surrounded by basalt ridges. Here, our vines embrace the blessings of the sun and the wind as it barrels through the gorge.
